Impersonation

Impersonation of another person, brand, or organization is strictly prohibited on Spoutible. Impersonation is defined as creating a profile or account that misrepresents someone else, with the intent to deceive, confuse, or mislead others.  


Examples of impersonation on Spoutible may include: 


  1. Pretending to be someone else: Creating a profile or account that uses another person's name, photos, and personal information, with the intent to deceive others into thinking you are that person. 
  2. Impersonating a celebrity or public figure: Creating a profile or account that uses the name and likeness of a well-known individual, with the intent to deceive others into thinking you are that person. 
  3. Impersonating a brand or organization: Creating a profile or account that uses the name and logo of a brand or organization, with the intent to deceive others into thinking you are that entity. 
  4. Impersonating an official account: Creating a profile or account that uses the name and logo of an official government agency or other organization, with the intent to deceive others into thinking you are that entity. 
  5. Catfishing: Creating a fake profile or account using someone else's photos and information, with the intent to deceive others into thinking you are that person, often with the goal of building trust and then exploiting it. 


If you come across a post, account, or any other content that you believe violates this policy, please report it to us. Spoutible will review all reports and take appropriate action, including but not limited to removal of the content, disabling the user's account, and reporting the user to law enforcement if necessary. 


Users are solely responsible for the content they post and share on Spoutible and must comply with this policy and all applicable laws. 


This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the law or best practices.
