Hate Speech

You may not direct attacks against people based on their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender, and gender identity. 

 

Hate speech is defined as any content that promotes, encourages, or facilitates discrimination, denigration, or harassment against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender, or other characteristics. 


Examples of hate speech on Spoutible may include:

 

  1. Racism: Posts or comments that use racial slurs, promote white supremacy, or attack individuals or groups based on their race or ethnicity. 
  2. Xenophobia: Posts or comments that attack or dehumanize individuals or groups based on their national origin or country of birth. 
  3. Homophobia/Transphobia: Posts or comments that attack or harass individuals or groups based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. 
  4. Misgendering & Deadnaming: Posts or comments that incorrectly assign a gender or use a former name for transgender or gender non-conforming individuals who have changed their name. Learn More
  5. Conversion Therapy Content: Any content that promotes, endorses, or provides resources for "conversion therapy." Learn More
  6. Religious Intolerance: Posts or comments that attack or discriminate against individuals or groups based on their religion or belief system. 
  7. Ableism: Posts or comments that attack or discriminate against individuals with disabilities. 
  8. Sexism: Posts or comments that attack or harass individuals based on their gender, or that promote gender stereotypes or inequality. 
  9. Cyberbullying: Posts or comments that harass, threaten, or attack individuals in a persistent and targeted manner. 


If you come across a post, account, or any other content that you believe violates this policy, please report it to us. Spoutible will review all reports and take appropriate action, including but not limited to removal of the content, disabling the user's account, and reporting the user to law enforcement if necessary. 


Users are solely responsible for the content they post and share on Spoutible and must comply with this policy and all applicable laws. 


This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the law or best practices.
